Frequently Asked Questions

Product Selection

What products do you sell?

We specialize in arcade claw machines, DIY claw crane kits, replacement parts, and accessories for arcade operators, entertainment venues, and hobbyists across the US and worldwide.

What is the difference between a 53cm and 71cm gantry kit?

The gantry size refers to the width of the crane rail system. A 53cm gantry is designed for compact or mini claw machines, while a 71cm gantry fits standard full-size arcade cabinets. Choose based on your cabinet's interior width.

Which claw size fits my cabinet?

We offer claws in 100mm, 120mm, and 150mm sizes. As a general rule: 100mm claws suit mini machines, 120mm fits mid-size cabinets, and 150mm is standard for full-size arcade claw machines. If you're unsure, measure the interior width of your cabinet and contact us for a recommendation. The factory-standard claw size is 8 inches; however, you can purchase and install other claw sizes during use, depending on the dimensions of your prizes.

Do you sell individual parts or only complete kits?

We sell both. You can purchase individual replacement parts (such as a single claw motor, coin acceptor, or bill acceptor) or choose from our complete DIY claw crane kits that include all major components in one package.

What's included in a DIY claw crane kit?

Our kits typically include the main control board, claw unit, motors, joystick, coin acceptor, power supply, and wiring harness. Exact contents vary by kit — please check the individual product page for a full component list.

Can I upgrade my existing machine with your parts?

In most cases, yes. Our parts are designed to be compatible with standard claw machine cabinets. We recommend sharing your machine's model or specifications with us before ordering to confirm compatibility.

Payment & Coin Systems

Which countries' banknotes does your bill acceptor support?

Our bill acceptors can be configured for different countries' currencies. Before purchasing, please confirm which country's banknotes you will be using — the acceptance program is set based on your location to ensure accurate validation.

Do I need to specify my country before ordering a bill acceptor?

Yes. Please include your country in the order notes or contact us before placing your order. This allows us to configure the banknote validator's acceptance program correctly for your currency.

Does your coin acceptor work with US quarters or tokens?

Yes. Our coin acceptors can be calibrated for US quarters (24.26mm diameter) and standard arcade tokens. Custom calibration for other coin sizes is also available — contact us for details.

Can I use a card reader instead of coins?

Yes.Only large-scale game and entertainment centers would consider using the card reader function. We offer optional card reader modules for cashless play. This is popular for modern arcade venues that prefer contactless payment. Contact us for compatible card reader options.

Installation & Compatibility

Is installation difficult? Do I need a technician?

If you purchased a complete unit, no installation is required.

Our DIY kits are designed for self-installation with basic mechanical skills. We provide wiring diagrams and installation guides with every kit. Most customers complete installation without professional help, but we recommend having some familiarity with electrical connections.

What tools do I need to install the kit?

Basic hand tools are sufficient: screwdrivers (flathead and Phillips), wire strippers, a multimeter for testing connections, and zip ties for cable management.

Will your parts work with my existing cabinet brand?

Our parts are designed to be compatible with most standard arcade claw machine cabinets. Compatibility depends on cabinet dimensions and wiring standards. Please share your cabinet brand and model with us before ordering and we'll confirm fit.

Do you provide wiring diagrams or installation manuals?

Yes. All kits include a wiring diagram. Additional technical documentation is available on our Claw Machine Kit Manual blog, or you can contact our support team directly.

What voltage does the power supply support?

Our power supplies support both 110V (US standard) and 220V (international standard). Please confirm your local voltage when ordering to ensure you receive the correct unit.

How do I troubleshoot a claw that won't grip properly?

Weak grip is usually caused by one of three things: (1) the claw strength dial is set too low, (2) the claw motor is worn and needs replacement, or (3) the control board's grip strength setting needs adjustment. Check our Arcade Tips blog for step-by-step troubleshooting guides, or contact our support team.
