Factory Tour: Inside Hiclawcrane — Where Claw Machine Kits Are Made

Where We Are

Hiclawcrane is based in Guangzhou, China — the manufacturing hub of the Pearl River Delta and one of the world’s largest centers for arcade and amusement machine production. Our factory handles the full production cycle in-house: component sourcing, mechanical fabrication, electronic assembly, quality control, packaging, and export.

Guangzhou’s position as a manufacturing center means we have direct access to the component supply chain for arcade machine parts — motors, mainboards, coin acceptors, steel and stainless steel profiles, and wiring harness materials — without the lead time and cost overhead of sourcing from distant suppliers.

The Factory Floor — Area by Area

Incoming Inspection Area

Every component that enters the factory passes through incoming inspection before it reaches the production floor. Motors are tested for winding resistance and no-load rotation. Mainboards are checked for correct voltage rails and connector pin assignment. Gantry rails are measured for dimensional accuracy and checked for straightness. Components that fail inspection are rejected and returned to the supplier.

This step is non-negotiable. A defective component that enters production is harder to catch and more expensive to fix than one rejected at the door.

Mechanical Fabrication Area

Gantry rails are cut, deburred, and finished in our mechanical fabrication area. Steel and stainless steel profiles are cut to length on precision cutting equipment. Cut ends are deburred and finished to remove sharp edges. Rails are inspected for straightness after cutting — any rail that does not meet our straightness specification is rejected before it enters kit assembly.

The 71cm full-size kit uses stainless steel rails as standard. The 25.7cm mini kit and 53cm mid-size kit use steel rails. Stainless steel rails are available as an upgrade option for the 53cm kit on OEM orders.

Electronic Assembly Area

Mainboards, display boards, and flash boards are assembled and tested in our electronic assembly area. After assembly, each board goes through a dedicated test sequence: power-on check, I/O channel verification, and firmware function test. Boards that pass testing are packed in anti-static bags and individual boxes, ready for kit assembly.

Wiring harnesses are assembled to length in this area. Each harness is continuity-checked before it leaves the electronic assembly area.

Kit Assembly Area

Kit assembly is where all components come together. Each kit is assembled by a dedicated assembly team following a standardized checklist for the kit model. The checklist covers gantry rail alignment, motor mounting, wiring harness routing, claw installation, and coin acceptor mounting.

Assembly is not a production line in the traditional sense — each kit is assembled as a complete unit by the same team, which means the team is accountable for the full assembly quality of each kit they build.

QC and Testing Area

After assembly, every kit moves to the QC and testing area for full system testing. The kit is powered on and tested through a complete play cycle: joystick control, axis travel, coin acceptor, claw grip force, auto-return, audio, and lighting. Kits that pass system testing move to packaging. Kits that fail are pulled for fault diagnosis and repair before retesting.

Our QC process is documented in detail on our Quality Control Process page.

Packaging Area

Kits that pass QC move to the packaging area. Each component is individually wrapped in EPE foam. Electronic components are packed in individual boxes with anti-static bags. Gantry rails are fitted with EPE foam end caps and rigid support. All components are packed into double-wall corrugated outer cartons with void fill. Cartons are sealed, labeled, and staged for shipment.

Dispatch and Export Area

Packed cartons are staged in our dispatch area pending shipment. Export documentation — commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin — is prepared for each order. For bulk orders, cartons are palletized and stretch-wrapped before container loading. Sea freight containers are loaded from our dispatch area directly.

Our Production Capacity

Hiclawcrane produces kits across all three sizes — 25.7cm, 53cm, and 71cm — on a continuous production schedule. We maintain stock of standard kit configurations for fast dispatch on in-stock orders. OEM and custom orders are scheduled into production based on confirmed order quantity and delivery timeline.

Factory Visits and Inspections

We welcome factory visits from qualified distributors and OEM buyers. If you are planning a sourcing trip to Guangzhou and would like to visit our facility, contact us in advance to arrange a visit. We can accommodate factory tours, product demonstrations, and pre-shipment inspections by appointment.

Third-party pre-shipment inspections by your appointed inspection company are also welcome. Contact us when placing your order to coordinate inspection scheduling.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where exactly is Hiclawcrane located?
A: We are based in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. Contact us for our full factory address.

Q: Can I visit the factory before placing a bulk order?
A: Yes. Factory visits are welcome by appointment for qualified distributors and OEM buyers. Contact us to arrange a visit.

Q: Do you allow third-party pre-shipment inspections?
A: Yes. Third-party inspections by your appointed inspection company are welcome. Coordinate with us when placing your order to schedule the inspection at the right point in the production timeline.

Q: Do you manufacture everything in-house or use subcontractors?
A: Core production — mechanical fabrication, electronic assembly, kit assembly, QC, and packaging — is handled in-house. Some components (motors, mainboards, coin acceptors) are sourced from specialist suppliers and go through our incoming inspection process before entering production.
