- Manual trigger test — manually activate the sensor (press limit switch, pass object through prize sensor) and confirm the board registers the signal
- Continuity test — use a multimeter to test sensor wiring continuity from sensor to board connector
- Swap test — temporarily connect a known-good sensor of the same type to confirm whether the fault is in the sensor or the wiring
Can Sensors Be Replaced in the Field?
